Gas in NJ

Is it true that they only raise the price of gas 1 day a week? Like Friday night or something?

There is a law in NJ that gas stations can change the price once per day, but only once per day.

However, many times they change the prices twice per day. About a year ago, a bunch were getting in trouble, but it hasn't seemed to change anything.

ITA. Every time I get my car filled in NJ, the attendants drip gas over my car, or over-fill it, etc. They don't care about my car the way that I do... Chat Icon

It is true - for the gas stations at the rest stops. They only change their prices once a week - on Thursday - unless there is a certain percentage increase in gas prices (and the percentage is pretty high).
