DH's away again
Don't worry, I won't give a day by day countdown but I am sad that DH is away again. He left this afternoon for England and Ireland. He returns on Thursday afternoon. I know it is part of his new position at work (he switched to being in charge of international treasury from US treasury)
Sadly I am off this week (teacher) but we don't have a passport for DD yet and this trip was planned on rather short notice so DD and I couldn't go with him
So far I have a play date with Gatsbygirl and her DS Connor. My mom and I are planning a trip to the outlets. I may see another friend.
I am going to try to keep busy.

Definitely keep yourself occupied.....but Thursday will be here before you know it!! It's rough when significant others are away....I have a hard enough time when I don't see my boyfriend for a couple of days, so I can imagine not being able to see a DH...but hang in there....thank goodness for good ol' LIF for some occupying

I know how you feel. my DH left last night and won't be home until Wednesday night, I'll mis him - but the homecoming is always good
LIke PP said, try to keep yourself busy - I think I'm going to start a new project, do a little redecorating before he gets home
I hope your time goes quickly!

Fortunately I have my parents five mnutes away. DD and I are spending a few days at their house and my mom will spend a few days with me since I am a scaredy cat and don't like to sleep alone in the house.
But poor DH only has a few meeting while he is there and then a lot of free time with no one to spend it with. Wanna invite him for dinner?

I know how you feel. DH has been traveling every single week for about 6 weeks now (for the entire week), and I have no one here to help me. I'm so stressed! He's leaving in a few hours for the whole week again 
Thank goodness we're going on vacation this Saturday!

Ugh. I don't know how you do it. I am so grateful I have my parents. I am just sad w/o DH. But I give you props for doing it all alone.

I'll commiserate with you - my DH has been away for 5 1/2 weeks and he gets back on Thursday too!
Business trips are no fun when you're the one stuck back at home. Actually, they might not be much fun when you're the one going either, based on what DH has to say about them

I know its friday and hopefully your DH is home safe and sound, I just wanted to say you should get a passport for your daughter so maybe the next time you all could go.
