Moms who Cosleep?
What positon do sleep with your baby. I am dying here for a good night's sleep. I used to be that Miranda would sleep with me for a while and when DH would come up to bed he would move her to her bed and all was well. NOPE not anymore and she's been sleeping with me the whole night in the crook of my arm and its so uncomfortable. I am a side sleeper and I like to change sides frequently and this doesn't work with a sleeping baby so I get a crappy night's sleep which makes for a miserable person. Any suggesitons for a better position?

I was going to post the exact same thing. I have been sleeping on the couch all night with her.

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
I have the same problem, Julia sleeps with me and DH, and she like to cuddle right up against me and I feel bad to move her cause she looks so comfy but when I wake up I have such a stiff neck, and sore arms. I usually wait now till she falls asleep, then I move her to the middle of my bed then try to get into a comfy spot so I can sleep.

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
The nights Jeremy falls asleep with me I sleep with him in my arms. His head is on my arm and my arm is wrapped around his body. I keep his head up by mine so I remember that he is there. When I do have to roll over I pull him close to my body and roll over and plop him down on the other bicep

Be careful about your arm. I did some damage to my shoulder by sleeping that way. You need to put your shoulder down or you're going to wind up on anti-inflammatories like I had to be on.

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
I used to sleep with him in the crook but my arm and neck were killing me so now he sleeps in the middle between dh and I we each hold one of his hand so that he falls alsleep- he is very active with his arms and he would be up all night moving those things

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
I only co sleep w/ her sometimes and she keeps her head on my arm which caused tendonitis problems for me so be careful of that! It got so bad, I had to get Meds and a cortizone shot and then it went away.

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
Uggggh I don't know what to do. Putting her in the middle 1. Freaks me out that I or DH will roll on her, him more than me and 2. she can't sleep flat because of her reflux so I'm not sure how to prop her up in our bed. I have the snuggle nest and we tried that again last night but she's kind of outgrown it.

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
have you tried online at one stepahead? THey sell one that rolls next to your bed...... and the baby sleeps in a bassinett type crib that is open to your side of the bed?

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
On the very rare occasions that Cole sleeps with us I sleep on my side with my arm under his knees. I'm comfortable and I can feel if he starts to move. But he never slept with us before 4 months, so i'm not sure about a newborn.

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
Lets see if I can explain this good - I have a small roll pillow I tuck in tight under the sheet at the edge of the bed...he sleeps on his side w/ his back against it...me in the middle and DH on the other side. I'm a light sleeper so I don't worry about rolling on him...

Re: Moms who Cosleep?
I was thinking about the way we sleep this morning as we were sleeping. I hold Jeremy just like I would a pillow that I would be snuggling. It would be no different if he were a snuggly or something, I am just very aware of his face.
