Going out to a seafood restaurant tonight...
I know that we are supposed to stay away from fish with high mercury levels like swordfish.
What other fish fall under that category of "high mercury"?
Would Sea Bass be okay?

Do not eat Shark, Swordfish, King Mackerel, or Tilefish because they contain high levels of mercury.
And this:
Safe -
# wild pacific salmon
# farm-raised trout
# farm-raised catfish
# fish sticks
# summer flounder
# croaker
# mid-Atlantic blue crab
# haddock
In Moderation -
# canned tuna
# mahi mahi
# eastern oyster
# blue crab from the Gulf of Mexico
# lake whitefish
# blue mussels
# cod
# pollock
Avoid -
# shark
# swordfish
# sea bass
# tilefish
# tuna steaks

I did not see shrimp on that list. Do you know where that would fit in? Is it safe to eat shrimp?

You can eat all shellfish, including shrimp! Enjoy!
I eat tons of salmon, tilapia and halibut. My OB wants me eating 2 servings/ week of seafood for the Omega 3's.
