Please help me decide on a camera
Both are the same price...and both are canons...
One is:
Canon PowerShot SD770
10 megapixel
3 X optical zoom
2.5" LCD screen
****or****
Canon PowerShot SD 870 IS
8 Megapixal
3.8 optical zoom
3" LCD Screen
Everything else about them are pretty much the same
The 8 meapixal is on sale from $349 to$299 which makes me think it is a better camera then the 10 mga because that one is only $299  but the higher the pixal, the better the picture, right? i am so confused
Please help

The 8 MP is a better camera because it has Image Stabilization (IS). I actually have the 870 IS and it is so much better than my old Canon Power Shot that didn't have IS. The difference in MP isn't really a big deal. 8MP is more than enough.

Is that why a lot of my pictures come out blurry with my current camera...because it does not have IS?

ITA...plus the 870 has more zoon and a bigger viewing window - which is always nice.

I agree too even though I don't know what IS is. No need for 10 mp unless you're blowing pics up really huge.
