Best way to housetrain...

Stella is 5 months old and we just moved into our new house...While we lived in our apartment, she was housebroken...Now that we are in a new house, she is having accidents inside and I don't know what to do! I know it's a new place and I want to give her some time to get used to it but I don't know what to do at this point! Any ideas?Chat Icon

Have you tried crate training until she gets more used to her new "territory"?

She is in her crate during the day when we aren't home and when we go to bed at night...We used to live in a very small apartment and she always went to the door when she had to go out...I don't know if now because we have a bigger house, she is confused and needs to learn all over again.

i would pretend to start training all over... like u did when u 1st got her.. take her out every 2 hours or so so she gets used to where the door is, just pretend u r starting from square one again (fun)! ya know bring treats outside w/ u etc.
congrats on new bigger place!!

I think you're right! I will start all over again so she gets used to where the doors are and knows to go to them when she has to go outside!Chat Icon
