More heartburn questions
My queasiness has been repalced by heartburn. I'm not sure which symptom I'd rather have.
Are there specific foods that tend to cause heartburn? Are there foods that probably won't cause heartburn?
I got a TTC/pregnancy packet from my OB/GYN last year when I told her I was thinking about TTC. One of the letters lists Mylanta, Maalox, Tums and Rolaids as medications that are safe to use during pregnancy. IYO, which one is the most effective? TIA.

Re: More heartburn questions
I didn't find Mylanta, Tums or Rolaids helpful. I suffered alot. Then I had acupuncture done and I felt a huge relief!
As for foods, stay away from anything acidic- sauce, citrus fruits, chocolate. I eat VERY plainly now and while there is still some heartburn, it's tolerable.

Tums is my guardian angel for combating heartburn.
Acidic foods definitely bring on heartburn. Anything tomato based, citrus, and for some reason bacon kills me.

Re: More heartburn questions
Anything acidic (tomatos, salsa etc) will generally cause heartburn.
Try drinking milk. It is generally the easiest way to curb heartburn. If not then see a doc
