Japanese Hair Straightening

Last july I went to Top Point but was wondering if there's a new place out there thats just as cheap but better I could try. I had to go back twice last year because they didn't do it right.

TIA!

I went to Top Point last May and I wasn't too thrilled with the results either. I went to New Mode in Plainview in december based on recommendations from this board and they did a great job. It was $230.

Re: Japanese Hair Straightening

interesting

I have gone there 3 times and each time is better then the last

I have gotten in done about 8 times overall- and Top Point is by far the best I have even gotten- I used to still have to dry my hair

maybe my hair is changing- and it's even really curly anymore?????

I think they didn't leave it on long enough.

It was during a very busy sat in may (I think 11 ppl were getting it done that day, most as a gift for mothers day) and they made me wait, just sitting there with nothing on my hair for an hour. Then I said something, they put the stuff in my hair and I dont think they left it in long enough after that because they were trying to get me out of there. Also I think they were afraid to leave it on too long bc I highlight my hair.

that's the issue and why I think mine use to not come out perfect

that will happen at every place- they get very nervous with high-lights and JHS

now that my hair is back to my natural color- she leaves it on for a long time

I also go on sunday or a weekday- early in the morning- so I get her full attention
