Braxton hicks with a pattern...
So last night DH and I are watching TV in bed and I got a BH every 7-12 minutes for over an hour. They never got 'painful', just super uncomfortable. I'd get up to pee, come back to bed and they'd continue. Finally, around 12:30 when I flipped over onto my other side, they stopped until this morning when I woke up to another couple in a row.
I'm not leaking any fluid. There is no blood. Nothing that raises any red flags except that they were consistant. It was the strangest thing. Anyone else experience this yet??

They are going to continue getting stronger and stronger until you go into labor. Your body's practicing laboring!

Re: Braxton hicks with a pattern...
Wow!! Are we the same person?
The exact same thing happened to me last night for the first time, and I was getting worried too.
They never got to the point of being painful, and in your lower belly and back like people say contractions feel like, but I was getting BH contractions regularly and very strong all night!! At some points, they were VERY uncomfortable, but never really painful!

See? This is why I'm so glad we have this board because my DH was like ready to cart me over to L&D he was so worried. I'm lying there thinking, "Hmm, I wonder if I post about this now if anyone would respond within a few minutes"
Glad to know we're not alone!

Re: Braxton hicks with a pattern...
I have had Braxton Hicks that were consistent for about 2 hours, and then they just went away.

Re: Braxton hicks with a pattern...
i had this happen to me last friday and i was slightly worried too, in fact even posted a topic on here about it. From our lovely ladies here, ive been told its normal and its our bodies practicing labor. The repetition is what worried me too. Mine went on for 2 hours. I think the time to worry might be if you were leaking fluid, intensified contractions that worsen and keep getting closer and closer together. I guess we worry b/c we don't know 100% what to expect never having been through this before so any little odd feeling, we worry its labor!

Re: Braxton hicks with a pattern...
At my 34 week appt earlier this week my OB said that if you get a lot of BH late in the day it means you pushed yourself too much and you should relax the following day.
She told me if I have more than 4 in an hour I should call them.
