Too much movement?

I am currently 18w4d. I notice the baby moving A LOT. Anyone else having A LOT of movement pretty early? The baby seems very active. I expected it to be more common towards the third tri.

Yeah- Mine has alot of movement as well. He likes to lay really low & kick me when I least expect it! I heard that by the end of the 3rd trimester, the baby moves less because theres less room in there to squirm around.

It depends. I am due in under a week and Chat Icon is still VERY active. Mine didn't slow down the movements just changed. It's more streching and moving from side to side now. It is painful sometimes because there is no room and she is so strong.

Re: Too much movement?

my Chat Icon moves a whole bunch.. i remember feeling a tingly feeling in my belly at 13 weeks and wondering if it was gas or not.. and sure enough, it was Chat Icon which i realized a few weeks later. At 31 almost 32 weeks.. this little peanut doesnt stop. Just think.. at least your Chat Icon is moving and you dont have to be worried that your Chat Icon is not moving. Im trying to cut back on sugary things and caffeine.. maybe that stuff contributes to her acrobats in the womb!
