Bad flashbacks......
So now I know why my sister wanted me to stay out of the Baby Shower planning.
So far only 17 people have RSVP'd! Reminds me of waiting on response cards from the wedding planning days.
The shower isn't until May 18th so people do still have time, but why oh why must people be so rude and wait until the last minute?

Yours is the same day as mine. People are horrible with RSVPing. That's why my SIL wrote Regrets Only on the invite. People are more likely to call if they can't come than if they can.

Don't worry about it.
May is a CRAZY time for parties, (Birthdays, showers, communions, etc).
It could be that your guests are overwhelmed w/ invites and just trying to sort it all out.
I love when people (well mostly dh's side) don't respond. It's that many less people I have to invite to something else.

Same happened with mine. Most everyone responded at the last minute. People are just lazy... don't stress about it! I am sure you will have a nice turnout and recieve tons of gifts
