Re: FMLA and accrued time
That would be great.
All I get is the FMLA 12 weeks unpaid. Plus I get 6 or 8 weeks of short term disability at 50% of my pay that runs concurently with FMLA. Luckily I can use any accrued vacation/pers./sick time after the STD is over. But now learning about this 7-day waiting period before STD kicks in totally messes up my plans. It's ridiculous that I have to use 7 vacations days BEFORE STD starts.

Re: NM
You shouldn't have to use 7 days vacation before STD kicks in. It should be 7 days of SICK time before STD kicks in.

According to the paperwork i received, i have to use any applicable paid time, Sick, personal or vacation days during those 7 days.

Re: NM
i deleted it because it turns out that county requirements are stricter than those of private companies - i need to use all my accrued time concurrently with FMLA.
