another gold question
i have a few of pieces of jewelry that i am almost 100% positive are gold (don't know what karat). however, some of them aren't stamped. does anyone know if gold HAS to be stamped?
(i have a yellow gold chain that i KNOW is gold and it's not stamped either, so i am very confused!)

It doesn't. My mom just sold some stuff this weekend and they were able to do some test to check if it was real or not. She went to Good Old Gold in Massapequa.

This is where I went and they did the same test for me. Some of my pieces I thought were fake, but apparently they weren't. They'll weight it, test it and then give you a price.
