Can you believe some of these names?????
I got my Babycenter e-mail today and there is a list of unusual, but real, names that people gave their babies in 2005. Some people just should not be allowed to name their own children - some of these are just so wrong!
Some of my favorites from the list:
Butterball
Coolio
Espn
Gherkin
Google
Hannibal
Imhotep
Pdiddy
Tigger

I know! The original P Diddy didn't like the name enough to keep it long term. And I'm sure that growing up with the name Butterball won't screw you up in the head.
What are people thinking?????

Ok, that list is crazy, but the craziest part is my bf's friend was going to name her son Espn. Yes as in the sports channel  , thankfully in the end she decided against it and named him Vance.

He was the architect for this:
BUT who the H e l l would name their kid that?
I think those people named their there kids with those names JUST to make that list
I pity those poor kids - can you imagine getting a resume with the name Espn

Ever see the movie "The Mummy" with Brendan Fraser? Imhotep is the evil mummy that comes back to life. There's one part of the movie where everyone is chanting "Im-ho-tep, Im-ho-tep..." That's all I would ever think of if I ever met someone with that name.

Last year or the year before ESPN the channel had an anniversary (15th maybe?) and they did a story on a whole bunch of people who have named their kids Espn both boys and girls. Dh looked and me and I said "Don't even think it."

That is what I was thinking too and I'm wondering WHY would they name it after an evil mummy???
