I would talk to him about why there was a difference
it might have nothing to do with him- since it happened to other people - it might just be cut backs do to the economy

I would approach it and ask if there was something that you did that would have changed the agreement you had. I am sure you haven't done anything wrong, but I would approach it as a concern instead of a demand of what you were promised. Either way, that is totally wrong for that to happen. I have BTDT myself and it definietly is the PITS

I agree. I would definitely talk to him. If he promised you more than that then he owes you at least an explaination. If it is due to cutbacks than at least you know what happened.

ITA and since you already had that conversation you should be able to talk to him about it, i hate talking about money with bosses so i feel for you ! good luck
