How can that be fun???
OK, so as I sit here calmly typing away on LIF.... DH is in the living room playing Call of Duty on his PS3.
I swear just watching him play this game stresses me out! He is SO tense when he plays it. I can't imagine how it is fun to play a game like that!
(although I am sure he cannot understand how I can sit here and spend as much time as I do on this website!!!  )

I wonder the same thing with DH when he is playing his XBox games. He is into those fighting type games. He sits there and concentrates hard and makes me chuckle  I don't find those games a bit of fun. But the Wii is another story. Love it.

He's actually making me crazy right now. He is playing online with other people with a headset so they can talk to each other. He can't hear himself, so he is screaming into the headset.. 
Can't he just TRY to remember we have a sleeping 7 month old upstairs???

i look at it as one of life's great mysteries. I can't see how it is fun AT ALL!!!!
Luckily DH has given Call of Duty a break for the last few weeks. So now we get to watch Deadliest Catch and Dirty Jobs. Oh, and America's Port which is my favorite show!

In their defense, what can possibly be fun about going clothes/shoe shopping? I honestly can't think of anything less interesting than buying shoes....
I haven't played many video games lately, but I used to be big into the first-person shooting games as well. It's a great way to immerse yourself in another world for a while. Great way to release stress, and there are no real consequences to any actions. If you die, you come back or reset. If you kill someone/thing, hey, good for you. When I played, it was probably the most effective means of de-stressing that I had.

Honestly, I don't know either. DH has similar games for Sony PS, they make me nuts just watching them, I don't know how he finds it relaxing or fun.

My DH play a game....I do not know the name of it but its a combat game...and everytime he plays afterwards he complains of motion sickenss!!  well stop playing it!!
