Nesting = Cooking
For me the nesting instinct seems to involve cooking and cleaning.
We straightened up the house yesterday and hired a cleaning person to come in and do a really good professional cleaning early next week.
I just made Chili and Lasagna to freeze for when the baby is born. And defrosted chicken to make chicken cutlets tomorrow.
At least it was a productive day/weekend.

Sure you can clean for me and I'll cook for you. I enjoy the cooking portion more. Hence the hiring of a cleaning person to get this place in order.

Re: Nesting = Cooking
ugh.... I decided to cook a big indian meal today.... to make the rest of the week's meals easier..... Step 1: I pureed a can of tomatoes with a giant onion and simmered it for 20 min.....
I'm totally crying now.... the entire apartment has aerosolized raw onions in the air I swear it has incapacitated both of us
