yes...when i pay the state...and you "should" do so on federal your taxes are more dependant on SSN rather Name/Address... age also plays on who makes you "you" according to irs.gov
You can put SSN under your name/address and Memo it 2007 taxes or something if you like

You should always put your SSN on any tax correspondence. These forms are processed at huge centers and if one of your documents should get separated from the rest of your stuff, there's no way for them to tell who it belongs to.
