TMI- I think I lost part of my mucus plug- updated

I pee'd and when I looked in the toilet there was this glob of stuff floating around. Nothing when I wiped though.


I didnt call my doctor, I dont know why I just never thought about it...2 weeks ago I was 1 cm dialated, and 65% effaced. I am due May 29, but am scheduled to be induced 7-10 days before that. I went into preterm labor at 22 weeks, and was on bedrest for 10 weeks, I was taken off berest a little over a week ago.

So yeah, it looked like a big gooey snot, it was yellow and red about the size of a quarter. Nothing since then though, other than having to pee every half hour. I dont want to call the doctor if it was really nothing, especially because its saturday and the office is closed, but I guess I should..

While I have no words of advice (not a BTDT mom), I was wondering how you are this morning and if you called your doctor. Keep us posted! If I remember correctly, you are due in June, a few weeks ahead of me!

It seems a bit early (in my totally uneducated opinion) but it could be...TMI, but at the end of my pregnancy, I did have way more discharge that I ever thought was possible...for me, the mucus plug was very obviously not anything I had ever seen before...

Yeah i would definitely call your doctor just to be safe. It does seem a bit early to lose it. Let us know!

I agree with everyone else - call your OB. You shouldn't lose it this early but if you did, they'll want to monitor you.
