weight gain...
I went to the ob for a check up, im now on the every 2 week checkup.. and I gained 3 lbs in the past 2 weeks..I asked her if it was bad, she said right now its not but for the rest of the pregnancy it is! Ill be 31 weeks tomorrow and Im worried!! What has everyone elses weight gain been within a 2 week period if you dont mind sharing? Im bummed!

Don't be bummed. It may also be fluid retention. You retain alot of fluid, especially the last month. Just take it easy.

I was very slow to gain weight in the beginning. In the first trimester (14 weeks) I only gained 2.5 lbs. By week 23 I was only up 12 lbs. My last appt was at 32 weeks and I had also gained 3 lbs from the previous appt at 30 weeks. My doctor wasn't worried at all since over all I'm at 25 lbs so far.

Yup this is true! A lot of my weight gain is because of fluid retention, I'm 36 weeks.

Get this one....I went to the Dr last Friday b/c of spotting and then had my Level II this Wed and I had gained 3 1/2 lbs in those 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I realized I need to back off the ice cream (after Carvel tonight ).

ive gained 23 lbs so far.. i gained nothing at all in the first trimester... and didnt start gaining weight til about 4-1/2- 5 months! So I feel that Ive gained alot in a short amount of time! I don't eat the best, ill admit.. lots of carbs which im cutting back on tremendously. How much weight is supposed to be gained from 31 weeks on? How much does the baby gain from here on out? Anyone know? Thanks!!!

The baby gains most of its weight the last month. If I'm not mistaken at about 1/2 a pound a week! lol I think you are just fine. Like you said, you didn't gain much in the beginning, so think of it as you making up for the months you didn't gain anything.
I never really gained anything until the last couple of months.

I was very slow with gaining weight and at my most recent appt I gained 6 pounds from the last appt, last month. I am 32 weeks and gained 21 pounds so far. My doctor was not concerned and I am sure I will be gaining more as the last few weeks approach!
