What is going on with my body????

okay, I've been feeling progressively worse and worse each day since I hit about 34-35 weeks.

My legs and hands are swollen so bad and hurt so bad that I had to stop going into the office 2 weeks earlier than I had originally planned and work from home.

My whole left leg feels numb and hurts when I step down on it. I literally feel like all my circulation is being cut off.

I can't even make a fist with my right hand and now I have a ringing in my left ear.

And for some reason, my uterus feels like it's expanded and has been doing tumblesaults all day and night in there for the past 3 days.

He rolls on my stomach, I feel nauseous. He rolls on my bladder, I feel like I'm going to pee myself.

I lay down and the full weight of him shifts to whichever side I'm laying on.

I tried to take a walk yesterday and after 2 blocks was so winded and my foot hurt so much I had to head back home.

I can't take much more of this. I have my dr's appt tomorrow so I'm going to ask if all this is normal.

Sorry for the long whiny vent. I just can't help myself today.

Oh my gosh! Wow... Sounds the baby is really taking a toll on you! I am sooo sorry to hear this. I'm sure what you are feeling is totally normal- the last stage of pregnancy- I cant imagine it being as good as the 2nd trimester.

Get some rest & hang in there. Drink plenty of fluids & try to stay off your feet.

The ringing sounds off to me. Definitely get with your doctor.

I would call up your doctor about the ringing and not being able to make a fist. That concerns me for some reason.

I pray that it's just your little one getting ready to make his debut and nothing more!

I just wanted to add that this could be totally normal. Women's blood volume increases 40-45% during pregnancy and the ringing may be related to that. Here's a good article: Pregnancy Article

aww you poor thing...def. call your dr. to see if everything is normal and ok. I bet you have come close to tears over these frustrations.. I know I have before.. well, feel free to vent here! We are all here going through things and we are here to listen!

I'm going to the dr. tomorrow so I don't want to be a crybaby and call her today!!

I hope you are feeling better! I don't mean to scare you, but I would call my doc asap about those symptoms. It sounds like you could possibly be experiencing Hypertension or pre eclampsia or toxcemia. (especially the ringing in the ears and edema) I would call even if you think that they are not in the office, have the answering service page the doc, and let him know what has been happening that way he can give you some guidance as to what you should do or if you should be worried. I'm sure all is well, but better safe than sorry. I am praying for you and baby Please let us know how you are feeling!

The ringing in the ear has stopped. Now, it just feels a little numb. I've had the swelling for a few weeks now and each week doc says it's just part of being PG. My hand is feeling a little better too but is still numb and hard to close.

I know this sounds silly, but I'm don't want to call the dr. and have her send me to L&D. The last time I called she sent me there and I spent 5 hours in the hospital. It was so miserable waiting for a dr to see me and made me so anxious. I'd rather be at home.

If it gets worse I will call, but I'm going to try to hang in till my dr.'s appt tomorrow morning. is kicking away so at least I have comfort that he is okay.
