Now this is why I need to leave my job
So I walk up to a partner and tell him I got a call on a file and say the file name. So he tells me he needs a name for the file. Fine. I know it.
Then he tells me he always DELETES MY E-MAILS because I just put the file number. I have been doing this for MONTHS! Don't you think he could have TOLD ME THIS instead of deleting my e-mails!!

I deal with this constantly...and I am convinced it's b/c people want to "teach" you a lesson and do things the way they want it.
I have an executive that I work wit, and if your subject title is not in the form he asked for it to be sent, he automatically deletes it!

So, basically he just admitted to you he hasn't read any of your emails for the last year?

I worked in a law firm before and believe me I've heard stupid things like this before. Power struggle crap...
that's why I have a bad taste for attorneys..
I know, I know, they aren't all like that..
But I've had my share..
But I love the lovely attorney's on LIF!

I just have no patience for this type of stuff and passive/aggressive crap and I got so much of it when I worked in a law firm. I've been scarred for life.
