Re: question?

It would depend on a lot of factors.
-Who is this person and how am I related to her?
- It the baby going to be part genetically hers or am I just "using" her uterus to cook my egg and DH's sperm?
- Have I exhausted all other options/Is there absolutely no way for me to carry my own child?

There are more but I can't think of them right off the top of my head. It would be a very difficult decision for me.

wow- that's a loaded question!!! Chat Icon Besides what Lauren mentioned above, there are so many questions that jumped into my head...
- In my case, if it were anyone, it would probably be my SIL (she mentioned it to me years ago- way before DH and i were married but I don't know how serious she was or wasn't...)
- Would the baby automatically bond w/ her voice from hearing her talk while she was in her womb for 9 months?
- How would I act around my family after the baby was born? Would I feel like I was taking something from her (even though the baby was technically ours)?

Personally, I would have to know that I'd tried everything several times with no success--- and that there really was no other option. Then the decision would be whether to use a family member, or someone else... and even then, I don't know if I would do it. My husband was adopted at 18 months old. I've heard the horror stories from my MIL as to how awful some of those orphanages are. There are so many children in this world that need parents,...

GREAT QUESTION!!!!! I have thought long and hard and I think I would adopt before I would do that. I have been offered as well. For me I want the whole package. And unfortunately we depleted all of our funds with IVF so we dont even have money anymore to do anything!! Not even adopt. Who knew? Now all I can do is rely on God for anything and everything, You never ever know what can happen.
