The guy he flipped out on was his assistant. Artie said he wanted to fire him because he gets thousands of apps a day. Than the assistant gave out Artie's salary and it went down hill.

He did not technically deck him, they clarified that Artie went to knock him out and the security guy pulled the assistant out by his neck.

can we please discuss when the whole Spitzer thing came out....and they had the guy (forgot his name) that used to run an escort service, and when they were translating the transcripts with all the "chat lingo" and Artie responded with "Yeah, she gave me HGA...Hepatitis, Ghonnereah, and AIDS" - bEST comment EVER.

It was a planned bit. They do this every Thursday before a vacation break, to make sure that people tune in on Monday and get suckered into listening whatever special they are playing, and then again when they actually come back to 'see what happened while they were gone.'
Last time Artie flipped out and chucked the CD at Sal, it was the Thursday before vacation...

I hope you're right. I didn't hear it this morning...and honestly, didn't realize they are on vacation...they are playing the show from 4/7 right now...I was wondering why they didn't re-run the show from today...
All I know is, I adore Artie...he better not go ANYWHERE.
