Baby is bigger than i am in weeks
I went to the dr today and the doctor measured my stomach with the tape and her first reaction was "he's BIG!" I was like great  She said that I should be 32 weeks and 4 days. The baby is measuring that of the size of a 34 week baby. I have been thinking all day, am I going to deliver early or am I going to have like a 11 lb baby  I am freaking out, I am not due until june 2nd.

They should measure the baby in the sonogram too and see what's up, you might be further along then they think too.

I am going for the growth sonogram on the 22nd. They will check to see how much he weighs. I was thinking the same thing about being further along. I dont want to get caught at work.

The doctor told me the same thing at my last appointment. She said my baby was measuring big for the gestational age. I have only gained 6 lbs with this pregnancy but the baby is already big. She said that she recommends a growth sono but not for a few more weeks. I am 30 weeks along right now, she told me to expect a 9lb baby.

I wouldnt doubt having a big baby. My DH and his brother were both over 9 lbs. I was induced on my due date for my DS, because I was nervous he would be too big. He was 8lbs 4oz. I couldn't imagine what he would have been if i waited until he was ready to come out.

My son always measured at least two weeks bigger. He was born at 37 weeks by his own choice. He was 6 lb 15 oz.

I was told for so long I was having a very large baby and had about 4 growth sonos because of it. The day before I delivered I had another one and they said only 8lbs. Rylan was born 4 days late weighing only 7lbs 6oz. Don't worry yet like I did.

They told me the same.
They told me that my son was going to be big and that he was already 7lbs. 9 oz. at the 36 week growth sono but he ended up being 6 lbs. the following week lol
With DD, they told me she was the same size and she was born a month later at 6lbs. too LOL
Don't worry about it!

My belly measured 36 weeks at 30 weeks But then 34 weeks at 32 weeks...
So I am not worried. It is not really that accurate.

Don't worry about a big baby. At 34 weeks, the doctors couldn't even measure my baby in weeks anymore and had to consult charts in books. I went early and had an 11 1/2 pound baby. They say had I gone on time, he would've been about 13 pounds.

How did you have him, was it a c-secition or vaginal? If you don't mind me asking.

i was measuring ahead almost my whole preg. i delivered DD 5 days late and she was only 7lbs 2oz!

How did you have him, was it a c-secition or vaginal? If you don't mind me asking.
I had to have a c-section, but not because of his size. I had other pregnancy complications which the doctors realized around week 34 that I couldn't go naturally.
And no, I did not have GD. (Usually one of the first questions people ask.) He was just big.

I had some extra flub pre-pregnancy so the baby has been helping me get rid of it.
