What should I do???
I'm supposed to take my lupron shot b/t 7-9. Tonight DH won't get home until 10:15ish b/c he's teaching a class up the island and has to clean up and lock up the classroom and drive 45 mins to get home.
Would you wait for him and be like an hour or so late?
Or would you take the injection yourself (or try to anyway!!!)????

I would TRY and take the injection yourself. I like to try and be consistent when taking my meds. Worst case scenario, you wait for DH, but go ahead and try and do it!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

Definitely take it yourself. Youy need to prepare yourself in case he is not home. Just read the instructions carefully, let the alchohol dry, pinch your skin and stick! GL!

Thanks ladies  I've done the injections w/ pens before--- just something about the syringe is totally freaking me out...  I wish I could get past this. I'm going to hold out until 9:00 and see if DH calls.... Though I'm sure I'm going to have to give it to myself.... unless he gets out early... which is doubtful.

The syringe is no different than the pen. Just draw it up, stick it in and plunge.
(I know, easier said than done.)
ETA: I just realized that sounds kind of dirty if the context is not understood.
