my dh can be such an A SS sometimes...
We ordered food from the Italian place and the box was leaning against the cabniet , it came in the big pizza box even though it wasn't pizza. Anyway as we were eating ( I was almost done) I say casually what should I do with the box I asked b/c its pouring rain and I didn't want to put it out so it would get soaked. SO i was as asking should I put in the hall or whatever?
He FLIPS OUT.. WHAT THE %&^* IS WRONG WITH YOU IM EATING IM NOT THINKING aABOUT THE THE BOX. YOU HAVE OCD BLAH BLAH BLAH..
so instead of getting upset like I normally would do I tried my new tatic which SEEMS to annoy him more than me crying ( HAHAHA) I SIMPLY said OK you re a psycho and you are screaming at me b/v I asked what you want me to do with a box. he continues to say that of courese i am wrong.... so i finished my piece of bread and got up and let him eat by himself .. hnestly am i worng am i OCD

noel, you have some SERIOUS issues! how dare you want to clean up and throw out the garbage after having dinner!!! don't you know that box is supposed to stay there for DAYS before even being considered garbage!!!?????? really noel, what were you thinking!!!???

i said that to him when he said i was ocd for thinking of it WHILE eating i said well just b/c you would have left it teher for DAYS isnt my fault..
honestly i just happen to glance at it and think that its pouring out i didnt want it to get soaked but that's it

it hink my new way of ghandling things annoys him b/c i am sarcastic when is ay thethings i say and hopefuly he realizes that he goess off on the littleist things

My Dh wouldnt have been annoyed had I asked him that question so I dont know what to say but I do know that I could have decided myself what to do with the box...and if he didnt like it he would have dome soething else with it later LOL

true good point . i was honestly kind of thinking outloud and yes i could have made a decsion myself but i really think him flipping out what totaly uncalled for.

My DH gets annoyed too when Im done eating and he is not and I mention something about the garbage, so I learned to mention it after or not and see if he does it- he now does. Its all a learning process, but I dont think he should have flipped- something is stressing him and you were his outlet at that moment.

i wouldn't have said anything about the box until after we finished eating. if he flipped out by my simple question, than i would ask why he was so on edge and uptight.

LOl my kichten is not that big or else it woud have been. Thas the thing our apartmet is so small that anyting out of place or taking up space unneccessarily makes it very crowded in here.
yes i think some thing else is bothering him but i knwo not to drag it out of him he will talk when he's ready
