I'm home and I'm a mom!
Last Monday I gave birth to my baby boy, Jake Steven. He was 8 lbs. 6 oz. He was delivered via c-section and although it is somewhat of a rough recovery, the actual procedure was not as bad as I thought and seemed to go quickly. It is still so surreal to me to look at this little man and know that he is mine and that I am a mom! It is amazing and I love him so much. He is the first grandchild so his grandparents are over the moon and daddy is so happy to have a son (his "little fishing buddy"). Oh yea, and everyone I saw (including me for most of my preganancy) was convinced I was having a girl because my face changed so much, well, that old wives tale is out the window! Hope everyone is feeling well!
