Re: Need advice re jeans
I am curvier / hippy on the bottom and find Citizens of Humanity to fit me the best.
I also hear great things about Joe's Jeans but I have never tried them on! Good luck!

this is a good site.
Syl, I cannot get one leg into Citizens, Joe's, or Sevens...no matter how "skinny" I am. not sure how big/muscular your thighs are or it they are like mine, but I don't have much success. lucky brand is the only $$ jean I've been ok with.
I am beginning to think there is a new definition of curvy.
that being said, I love Calvin Klein jeans. and Express W31. and Mango jeans.

Same here. I have yet to find the perfect jeans for my thin-yet-curvy figure, even though I'm willing to spend good $$. I'll have to try Lucky.

Re: Need advice re jeans
see, this is what I mean..Gap curvy jeans look atrocious on me.
Syl, like Stacey London says, you just need to try on the bajillion styles out there until you find what works for you.

That's what I though, which is why I had only purchsed 2 pairs in 3 years, and then one day last month, I came home with 3! I don't think I tried on more than 10. Weird/lucky day.
I've had luck with Calvin Klein & Tommy Hilfiger for long, dark, wear out at night jeans, and Land's End for more casual jeans. The Land's End are probabaly the softest.

Re: Need advice re jeans
Thanks girls! The Gap jeans look atrocious on me as well Jess! And I think the Gap's style is just tiring and boring to me at this point.
I have a pair of Tommy Hil's and they look ok, CK Jeans are a no for me. I might have to check out Lucky's and I found a few 7's and a few Citizen's that might fit me...we'll see!
Thanks again!

Also, within a brand, there are differnt cuts that could really make a difference.
Good luck!

Re: Need advice re jeans
Honestly - you may want to check out Delia's!!! I love their jeans - they look just like the really expensive ones, only they are about 50 dollars - and although they are juniors, you can buy a larger size and they look awesome!!!
REALLY soft and comfy - and since you are a size 8, you can definitely wear their jeans - just buy the next size up...
