Pregnant woman should not...
watch a baby story on TLC! I am going into work late today and I caught the last 2 episodes. I'm sitting here crying my eyes out!!! I think I need to change the channel and watch some Maury.

Me too Im bad though I Tivo all 4 episdoes a day and watch them sometimes at night. I start crying as soon as they start playing that sappy music and the baby comes out while the parents are crying looking at it. LOL!!!! Im crazy! I do it to myself. Anyone pregnant need a good cry, watch a baby story!

ITA with this one too! My last food shopping excursion was a disaster. There will definitely be a big weight gain at my next appt!

I actually found an episode of Deliver Me last night and one of Birth Day to be very helpful in a big decision I've been thinking about surrounding the eppidural.
In Lamaze they had us watch 2 women give birth naturally with no eppi. They looked so uncomfortable and miserable (until they held their babies of course). So I'm watching Deliver Me last night and this woman gets the eppidural and she's smiling and laughing and they tell her to push a few times and her baby comes out and she's all happy and such. Pretty much the same thing on the episode of Birth Day that I just saw a little while ago. With this all said, I'm getting an eppi as soon as they will let me. I'm very nervous about a needle in my spine (sorry the very thought sickens me), but I don't care what the pro-natural childbirth people say, it has to be healthier psychologically for mom and baby if mom is relaxed and even laughing (not to mention easier if it's already in place should baby go into distress and an emergency C be required). JMO.

I have to agree! I have also said the same thing, lol to anxiety producing, I was told by DH that TLC and Discovery health were banned from out channel line up, lol! of course here I am watching birth day and the baby diaries!  LOL! Somebody stop me!!!

I still cry when watching a wedding story when they exchange vows. There is something wrong with me!

It should be banned from the homes of women who recently delivered too (and are still a tad hormonal to say the least)!! IT MAKES ME WANT TO HAVE ANOTHER BABY!!!!

One morning DH was getting ready for work and put the TV on. I had left Deliver me on the night before. He didn't know that and on a 65 inch television watching a child be born has now scared him
