going to baseball games
Is it not a good idea to bring a bag with you? Should I just bring a wristlet instead?
and how many layers of clothes will I need to wear?

I would bring a wristlet
I usually wear thermal shirt, long sleeve shirt and a heavy sweatshirt with my mets windbreaker
I also wear thermals under my jeans....
seems excessive but it depends where your seats are too and the wind
that is for now brrrrr
later on in the season
day depends on the weather
night jeans and a light sweatshirt

seats from what I was told are pretty good and pretty close to the field but I think the next level up or something. If I wear leggings underneath jeans or sweats and then a tshirt, long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt and uggs you think I'll be alright?

I usually bring a bag to Mets games b/c I bring most of my food and drinks with me to save money. They just search it, no problem.
I would bring a couple of extra layers.

I agree. I usually buy food there but bring bottled water. You may be too hot with thermal underwear on...DH is at the game today and wore jeans, a jacket, a jersey, and a tshirt, and should be fine.
Are you going today? I think I'd wear a jacket in addition to the sweatshirt. It's chilly!

We sat field level on opening day at Yankee Stadium. I wore a tank top, a thermal over that, a hooded sweatshirt, gloves, jeans and my Uggs. I was pretty comfy.
ETA: I always bring a bag, but thats just me.

i have season seats to the yankees
I bring my big A$$ louis vuitton speedy 30 to every game.
I cant be without my bag
When its cold, i wear an extra layer or 2
i also go to night games so there is no sun.
If you want to bring food in, there is a great deli type place, its called twin donut, but they have everything, drinks, chips, snacks cookies
You can bring whatever you want into yankee stadium as long as its in a clear bag.
They give you clear bags when you pay.
2 sodas, bottle of water, 2 bags of chips, 2 sweet snacks is about 8 bucks
a coke or pepsi at yankee stadium is 4.50
crackerjacks are 5 bucks
We also leave early, and eat at the court diner over by the court house. We never pay for parking, because we park on the street so we save alot of money
I have had season tickets for 10 years now!
