It's Too Bad Assault Is Punishable.....

....because I want to beat the girl that lives below me!!!!

DH and I rent a house (the main floor and second floor). There is a single girl, the same age as me that lives in the basement apartment. DH and I think that she is seriously certifiable.

She does things that over time (she's been living there for 3 months) have gotten on my nerves. She turns off the light in the back hallway before DH and I go to bed, so if we go out for a smoke we have to walk across the room in the pitch black (by the stairs to the basement, which are open). She slams the back door every time she's in and out of the house (she JUST did it now) DD's room is right above that and it shakes her room. She drills and hammers in the middle of the night.

We were having an issue with her doing laundry for 3 or 4 days straight when there is one of her and 3 of us and we pay twice as much rent as she does. So I talked to the landlord (who is my sister and her husband). They gave us both certain days of the week to do our laundry. I got an extra day since there are more of us. Today is my day to do laundry. Guess who has been doing laundry since 9pm? Not me.

I called my sister to let her know. I guess my BIL called her because DH and I heard her screaming on the phone saying "this is my effing house" (yes, she used the f-bomb). Now since then she's been making noise, slamming doors, screaming like a psycho and banging things around down there. AND still has laundry on.

Not to mention she drinks A LOT. Every week when the recycling goes out there is at least an empty gallon of vodka and quite a few beer bottles.

I don't feel comfortable having her live downstairs from us, I worry about DD. I don't know what people are capable of, KWIM??? She's a coworker of my BIL. I don't know her from a whole in the wall... PS. She has "Jennifer Wilbanks Eyes" (the runaway bride).

Sorry it's long, I just needed to vent.

I have the same thing with my neighbor above me, i dream of killing him b/c he is so dam loud!!!

I told DH that if she keeps up the baby nonsense I was going to buy tap shoes and dance above her bedroom all night.

Sounds like my upstairs neighbor that walks back and forth throughout their wood-floored apartment with her clogghoppers on! She is $hit scared of my dog and I wish I could send him up there to bite her a$$! Her roommate tells me that its not their fault they have wood floors in the house. I say, yes it is! They had carpets and removed them. Now, I'm a nice person, look I understand you want nice wood floors etc, but to me its all about being CONSIDERATE of other people. I don't want you to live walking around YOUR place on you tippy toes but come on at 12am??????????? Have some consideration! But payback is a B!TCH baby! The other morning I whipped out my loud-a$$ Oreck and vaccuumed the ENTIRE house at 6am...yup!

Oh boy- this reminds me of the recent tennants from hell I had recently living above me. They had 3 bratty kids that would run around the house at all hours of the night (& day). They would all run up & down the stairs (which was right outide my living room), slamming their feet on the wood floors. I can go on & on about how much I hated these people.

I am so sorry you have to deal with this idiot. I wish I had advice for you- I can totally sympathize.
