Did I ever tell you that I hate people?

Just had a bird hit our window
A little white throated sparrow...
he landed on our stoop in shock...breathing heavily and stunned...
I felt so bad 
He still wasn't moving after a few minutes, and I couldn't just leave him there (we have a lot of hawks) so I decided to try something I read...
I picked him up in a warm towel and put him in a small box and closed it...
I checked on him every few minutes to make sure he was still breathing, and after about 20 minutes I felt him moving in the box, and bam...he hit the top of the box so I knew he was ready...
I called DH and I opened the box and we watched as he flew right out to a bush...
That just made my morning

Old wives tale: When a bird hits your window, someone is/or is soon to be ... preggo in the home.
My neighbor told me this after a birdie hit their window and she surprisingly found out she was pregnant with DS#3, an Oops baby!

Old wives tale: When a bird hits your window, someone is/or is soon to be ... preggo in the home.
My neighbor told me this after a birdie hit their window and she surprisingly found out she was pregnant with DS#3, an Oops baby!
Ummmm, unfortunately not in this home
