I am annoyed am I wrong??
Please tell me if I am wrong, Our neighbor last week invited us over for New Years, I was baking a cake to bring over and the phone rings its our neighbor and he states that his family and a few other couples are going out to dinner and that we can come over at 10:30 or 11:00, how nervey is that? I have had his family over several times a year for parties...Am I wrong for being annoyed?

and may I add that his family came over last year when I hosted a New Years Eve party and put on a nice spread everyone ate drank and was merry! Well I am so annoyed, we are not going over!!!

I think it's fine that they're going out to eat, but they most vertainly should have invited you and DH. I wouldn't go over later if it were me.

NO, we did not go....We went over a relatives house, but when we got home we saw he called at 10:40ish, I guess he wanted us to know he got back from dinner....How rude! He told my DH about it a few weeks in advance and then reminded me on Christmas day!! He said that his other guest had kids for our little one to play with, so it should be fun! How does he expect us to keep a 3 year old up until 11:00 and the drag him out to go play with his and his guests kids? Hey you know who you are and if your reading this Mr. Neighbor! I will be ^&*%@$^ sure if you ever place your lips on a peice of my glassware again! Some people! Well on a brighter note HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!!
