make up ? for blue eyed fair skinned chicks
What color eye make up do you wear? Liner?, shadow?, mascara? I hear such different things from so many different sources. I'm confused.

I switch it up. I don't really wear liner (freaks me out) but I always use black mascara. As far as shadow, I try different shades but I think what suits me most are browns/tans. I try to do the darker color in the crease too which tends to bring out my eyes more. I need all the help I can get since I have to wear glasses all the time.

i wear the almay eye set for hazel eyes. i didnt like the one for blue eyes.
for work, i usually wear the brown (its like a mocha color) on my lids and the creamy color on my browbone) and use a dark brown eyeliner.
for nights out - i will wear black eyeliner and wear darker colors - a nice dark purply brown looks great with blue eyes.

because i have brown hair and a yellow tone to my skin, browns, taupes and peaches look best on me. i don't usually wear eye makeup other than mascara during the day but i LOVE almay's mascara in blue sapphire. at night or on the weekends i wear brown liner and a light brown or taupe eyeshadow. i usually stick with a blush that's more peach than pink.
i do sometimes wear grey liner/shadow, but never black - i think it's too harsh on me and makes me eyes look smaller.

well yes, and no. I love the look of liquid liner. When I look in the mirror I'm like yikes it's a bit harsh but then I look at pics of myself and it looks good.

Instead of liquid liner, I wet a very FINE slanted makeup brush w. water (here is Sephora's which I think may be too thick - mine is by Mary Kay)
Then I dip it in Charcoal Eyeshadow by Mac. I then line my eyes with it. Not as smudgy as a pencil and not as harsh as liquid eyeliner. I love it!
I am also blonde w/ blue eyes and wear a peach and ivory-ish eyeshadow by MAC a lot to work. I forget the name of the colors (sorry). I also wear green when I am going out and it looks really cute.
I find that brown looks very harsh on me because I have a lot of pink undertones in my skin. If you go to the MAC counter or to Sephora, they will suggest complementary colors for you.
I usually prefer to get sets like this... (more product for the $$$ and I usually like at least ONE of the colors) Good luck!!!!
