Why do they do this??
I had a Dr. appt today....it went ok...
The office closed at 4 PM, and they called my house at about 5:15 and I was not home so DH answered the phone, and they said hey are calling with my test results.
I called back, there is nobody there. They closed at 4
The recording says if any of your blood results come back abnormal, you will be called.
Now I have all night to agonize about this!
This sucks.

Thats why I always have them write in my chart-"leave message with test results" They legally need your permission to do this

I'm sure everything is fine, a lot of doctors will call no matter what the results are. 
I would def have them put something in your folder that in the future it's ok to share your medical information with DH.

ugh! can you leave your dr a message on his/her machine? they might be able to call you back sooner. that's what i do with my dr. he checks his messages regularly and will call me back when he can.
