Do you think it would be crossing the line of professionalism
if I offered my pee to one of my staff??
So one of the guys who works for me, let's call him "Joe" wants to play a joke on his friends.
Joe is a 25 and a bit of a player. He is "hanging out" with his best friend's girlfriend's friend (let's call her Mary), along with a few other girls. They are very casual, but his best friend (let's call him Dave) is in a serious relationship so he's always trying to get Joe to be more serious with this Mary, because Dave's girlfiend feels that Joe is a bad influence on Dave because he is such a player.
Joe and Mary want to invite Dave and his girlfriend over and have Mary freak out and storm out of the house crying and when Dave and girlfriend ask him why, they're going to say that they just found out that mary was pregnant. he was going to go to the store and buy a HPT and draw 2 lines on it.
So, as he's telling me this, I say, "you know, I have an extra HPT if you want it and btw, you can't really draw lines on it bc, the lines are under a window." And without thinking I say "if you want, I'll pee on it for you. It doesn't get more real than that!"
So, now he's all amped that I'm going to POAS for him!!
I think it'll be hysterical, but really, this has to cross some kind of professional boundary.
"Oh, I asked my PG boss to POAS for me and she did!"

I think it's a harmless joke and funny, but depending on what type of environment you work in, if word gets around what you did for him- people may not have such good a sense of humor. Do you work in a stuffy type place?

Depends on your work environment and how your boss is. If your boss is a joker too then just do it!

I didn't do it. I did, however, help him take the test apart, draw the lines, and put it back together and suggested dipping it in apple juice when he got home.
Something just didn't sit right with me about sending one of my employees home with my POAS in a ziplock bag!!
I figured it was not really the right way to foster any kind of respect in our working relationship!!
