So, apparently I'm an aberration of nature
I had a follow-up with the RE. The dominant follicle is the same size, but my lining is thicker. She said she has, in all her years, never seen anyone who ovulates on their own so regularly, have such an incredibly weird reaction to the Clomid. She told me my case is academically fascinating. Yeah, well, I love you Dr. Ruth, but it's not so fascinating or exciting to be the personal recipient of an academic oddity

So what does that mean? Are you cancelled or can you still go ahead with the dominant follicle?

Waiting on the results of the bloodwork. If my estrogen levels are still stagnant she's giving me provera to get my period. She said, because the dominant follicle hasn't grown, she thinks it's really just a cyst. She has absolutely no clue why this happened, and said she has never seem this happen to anyone.
Lovely.

yup! I've been called one of those too. I actually got my period weeks early after starting estrace to thicken my lining.
