How long do you think I can use the excuse "but the baby wanted it"
Yesterday Dh and I were at the mall and we passed the food court and I see ice cream. I said to DH "oooh how about some ice cream. " he said nah I'm ok but if you want some go for it. I said "oh no not me, the baby wants ice cream"  He hands me money and says go ahead and get your ice cream I'll wait here for you 
Then last night after dinner I said to DH hmmm maybe I'll have just a little more. And my DH being so wonderful and knowing how my m/s has been says 'ok just dont overdo it." I said "oh I know, but it' not for me, it's fort the baby" he just shook his head at me.
So how much longer could I use that excuse before it gets old

You can use that excuse until the baby is born. If he objects, tell him that HE can carry the baby to term. LOVE this part of pregnancy.

ummm, my doctor told me when to stop...when he told me that if I keep gaining at the same rate - I would gain too much. That's when I stopped.
It was good while it lasted!

Me too!!! When DH gives me attitude about it, I remind him that when he pushes a watermelon out the size of a quarter, he can have whatever he wants too.
