Re: infinity dress... anyone try it?
I know someone who had one and she wore it three different ways to one wedding. She changed it after the ceremony and changed it twice at the reception.
I thought the dress was neat, but I wouldn't change it at an event unless I wanted to conceal a stain.

that's the reason i'm considering it... for my cousin's wedding. it's a beach wedding in october... was thinking it would be perfect if it got too cold for me, to then cover up a little. was thinking of changing ONLY once IF NEEDED.

I haven't but just wanted to chime in with I think it's very cool!!!
That and this thread will most likely be moved to the fashion board by Monday when the MODs see it.

Re: infinity dress... anyone try it?
It's pretty neat.
I am a Fatty McFatterson so I don't think it would flatter me at all. But once I am back to cute body status I would consider it.
I like the top better than the skirt though. I like a cleaner line in a skirt the darting at the waist is rarely flattering.
I also am not a fan of the polyester knit fabric.. again because I don't think it's terribly flattering.
But I am no fashion maven. Ask anyone who has seen me out and about in my pajamas.

Re: infinity dress... anyone try it?
I have never heard of this, but it seems cool.
Of course being indecisive me, I'd walk around with anxiety about all the ways i could *possibly* be sporting the dress....
Random side note: does anyone remember clothes like this they sold in the 80s..they came in tubes and you could make them into all sorts of different things to wear???

That's a good idea too!

Re: infinity dress... anyone try it?
Cool idea-- but that's way too high maintenance for me. With things like that, I can only figure out one way to actually wear it.

Is it a belt-- no it's a mini skirt!

I couldn't be bothered. Just give me a dress and I will put it on. Case closed.

Re: infinity dress... anyone try it?
It reminds me of the red dress that "baby" wore on Dirty Dancing. the one that Penny was making for her.
I like it, but agree that I'm not clever enough to try all of the styles

yes i think that is it! There was a store in the mall...I still remember my anxiety at all of the choices. Yeah, that dress'd be no good for me.
