When did you start cereal?
Ava will be 16 weeks on Monday and I want to start cerel but her Dr. said that she is still too young and to wait until next months visit to discuss it.

I didn't plan on starting any solids until 6 months but her GI doc said to start at 4 months but I am going to run it by the ped. first.
If she's not maxing out on formula you may not need to start.

I tried it with Ryan...w/o Dr consent a few weeks ago...I saw no difference in his eating habits...he actually slept less..and he had very lose stool following it!
Today he went for his DR visit and I asked about starting it...and he said we will talk about it next month(3 months) and either then or the following month....
Im a little surprised because Ry is a big boy...and he sometimes eats close to 32oz a formula a day...but his tummy showed me he's not ready..so I guess we'll see next month..unless of course I feel he needs it then maybe we'll try again next month..
If you think Ava is ready give it a try...you know best for your baby!
