What is wrong with my FIL??
DH works for the same company that FIL works for. FIL is a "big wig". I called my MIL to say hello to her tonight, and my FIL tells my MIL (while I'm on the phone) that he has decided to send DH to Wisconsin for a training 2 weeks before I'm due!!! I come home and tell this to DH and he is pizzed!! Supposedly FIL was supposed to tell him yesterday but never did. DH has to go into the office tomorrow to argue this training and state why he isn't going.
I think it's insane that FIL would send DH for this training 2 weeks before I'm due. I tell my MIL that I am not comfortable with DH being sent to Wisconsin that close to the baby coming, and she tells me "well, that's a big time gap. You won't have the baby that early."  OH REALLY!!?? I'm not taking any chances!!!

are you kidding me??? I would NOT be happy! Ummm yeah its 2 weeks before your due date, not 2 months, that is cutting it pretty darn close.

That's crazy!! I could see someone's boss doing that and not caring BUT not when it's your father for goodness sake!!! Maybe it was an oversight........if not, that's just SO inconsiderate!!

Wow. Holy cow. Even my crazy FIL wouldn't do something like THAT! You did the right thing by telling them how uncomfortable you are with this. Keep pushing the issue- dont give up.

I never expected to deliver at 35 weeks but babies do come early. I would be really annoyed at FIL for setting that up.
ets: FIL told MIL while he new you were on the phone because that is the way he planned on telling your DH. He didnt have the nerve to tell him in person because he new he would be pizzed

That is ridiculous...frankly, I'd probably say, well if I DO go into labor those 2 weeks, don't bother coming to the hospital, i'll be so mad at you that my husband isn't here, I don't want to see you.
I know it is hard to do, they are grandparents, but that would pizz me off something good!

FIL said that DH was supposed to get a text message (that's how he gets all of his work information because he is on the road all day). When I talked to DH he said he never got a text and was never notified.

That's what I tried to explain to them, but my MIL said that I was wrong and that she doubts I'd have the baby early. When did she become my OBGYN?
