my prenatal vitamins nauseate me
i've never been this much of a baby when it comes to taking medicine/vitamins but for some reason i have to pep talk myself into swallowing my 2 vitamins daily!!! the after taste makes me gag and i'm always burping them up for hours after i take them..yuck. also, if i take them with water i usually always get the worse heartburn. does anyone take the chewable vitamins? i know a woman who takes them and she says they are great. idk what to do  should i switch?

Yes, definitely switch if you're having a hard time with this vitamin. I'm sure your doctor will be able to give you samples of others you can try.

2?? I'd gag too. I would try a different brand...and maybe switch up the time of day. I take mine at night, after dinner, and haven't had any issues.

I take two as well but I take them at night before I go to bed.. They dont bother me at all.. when I took them in the morning they hurt my stomach

i take the duet chewables, and i make sure i take them right before bed. they never bother me at all - they taste like the flintstones vitamins i used to take.

my doctor told me if they make me sick that i can take regular folic acid but i would feel better taking a prenatal vitamin. i really want to try some chewables. next month when i go to my doc i'm going to ask for some samples.

Try taking them at night. When I took during the day I had that probelm, but I take before bed and no burping nasty aftertaste.

My OB had to give me ones that wouldn't upset my stomach. I forgot the name of them though.

I stopped taking mine, I am just taking the folic acid, i am trying to get vitamins in my nutrition

I was taking the Target prenatals when I got pg, and all of a sudden they started making me really nauseous, no matter when I took them. My OB gave me some samples of the Duet prenatals and they work great for me.
Definitely see if you can get samples of others to try.

If prenatals are so good for you I dont understand why they make us naseous lol. I take mine at night. When I take it in the morning it makes me gag. ETS: I even asked my dr if it was ok that I take it before bedtime and he said yes.

I take Flinstones complete and my Dr. said it is fine.
BTW: I was so sick w/DD#1 I never took one vitamin and she was fine!

That happened to me with my first ones...I switched to Primacare One and never had another issue.

Mine did the same as well, until I switched to PrimaCare One, (one pill a day) and that agreed with me.

I take mine only at night right before bed. I used to take them after breakfast and it was giving me indigeston - yuck.
Def switch to another brand and take them at night before bed. That seems to help most people.

i would love to take flinestone vitamins. those were my favorite growing up 
idk i may just call her and ask if maybe i could take something similar to that & maybe in addition some folic acid?
