28 weeks along & disappointed with OB #2
Ill make this short and to the point.... my OB that I started with through this pregnancy is a really good doctor BUT his office staff stinks. They do not return calls, even in emergency situations. The appointment desk girls are not very nice either which also ruins this whole experience. Ive addressed the doctor before about it and things have not changed so I decided to have my records sent to another office. Well, that being said.. some other dr. office called me and said, I received your records, this is dr. green's office.. and I dont think I was supposed to receive these. GREAT. So my old OB sent my records to the WRONG office. So, being 27 weeks preggo last week, i said, go ahead and review them and ill make an appt and come in, i cant waste time. I dont know this office nor the one i was supposed to go to anyway so i figured Id have nothing to lose. So, I go to dr. green's office yesterday and Im unhappy. The appt seemed rushed and I was asking her some questions about my food intake and her hand was on the door knob as she answered my questions. I also waited almost an hour and a half to be seen and the waiting room was pretty empty. The whole ordeal was 2 hours and 10 min. Im 28 weeks and 4 days in need of a glucose screening and so frustrated that I can NOT find a good doctor here in south florida. (sorry so lengthy...)

Ugh! I am so sorry this is happening for you! I wish you were up in New York so I could send you to my OB... he is wonderful!  Good luck! Maybe try one more time with another doctor?

aw thanks for your good wishes! I called my old OB this morning and left a message (which im sure will not be returned of course..since that seems to be the pattern there..) and i said that they faxed my records to the wrong office and left the correct dr. name and fax and asked for a call back. Keep your fingers crossed that they will have my records faxed by tmw morning.. i doubt they will though.
