can someone help me ..

im going to see my dh's grandfather at the hospital. he had cancer and they think it came back. he missed easter yesterday and it was such a different energy without him there..anyway they dont think it looks to good.and we are devastated. this man is not only a grandfather but such a great mentor.

my question is what can i write on a card? my SIL and i are putting together a little card with all of the great grandchildren on it. and want to write something special but not sounding as if he is gone. we dont want him to be depressed..but we miss him dearly. please any help would be appreciated.TIA!
