can someone help with a hebrew translation
I posted of pic I took of my niece on another site and her grandmother (my sister's MIL) posted a comment, I'm sure it is very nice, but I just don't speak hebrew, can anyone tell me what this means:
Aynaim sheli.
TIA!

Re: can someone help with a hebrew translation
Asked hubby, who is Israeli, and he said it means "my eyes" - I guess she's commenting that your DC inherited her eyes?

A girl I work with has an Israeli DH.
She said it means
"My Eyes"

Re: can someone help with a hebrew translation
Thanks guys
My sister's husband and in-laws are from Isreal - I wonder if it is an expression rather than literal.

Nah, I think it's literal, actually.

So happy I understood that!
The best was when I was in Israel and I asked, "Eyfo Hasherutim? (where is the bathroom,", and then the guy answered me in Hebrew, which did not help me in the least!
