What do you think of this ad?
This ad is very popular here (and has caused controversy) and my BIL worked on it. Half the women here are offended by it the other half love it (no blue liquid, lol) or don't get it. Beaver is an American slang word and Australia doesn't have beavers, so women don't know what the animal is and think it is a wombat. Men here love it.
What do you think? Personally I think it is creative, but I really don't care about tampon ads and I don't get why they even need advertising...

I love it! Thats a nice beaver by the way. It is creative (remember, I work in an ad agency anyway) but very funny! And saucy! I like saucy! As Kath and Kim would say, that Beaver is a hunkaspunk!

It's pretty funny- definitely memorable.
That said, I think that considering the ad is supposed to be geared toward WOMEN, calling it a beaver is a little crass. NO woman calls it a beaver. Why alienate the group you are trying to target?
But still pretty frickin
