Entenmann's warehouse
I vaguely remember my mom taking me along on a shopping trip to a Entenmann's warehouse outlet type store when I was little. Is it still around? Where is it?
I've developed a little Entenmann's habit.

Roslyn Road and Jericho tpke - way too close to where I live. You can get three cakes for $5. Some stuff is half off. NONE of it is expired.

yep... there is one there for sure,
i don't know of any others.
stock up...entenmann's is leaving bay shore and moving all operations to PA.  many have already lost their jobs.

There is one down the road from me in Port Jeff Station across from Homegoods on 347. There is also on one Route 112 in Patchogue just north of Sunrise.

I worked at Entenmanns for 4 years and still have a lot of friends that are there. They did lay off a lot of bakers but they signed a contract for the bakery to remain there for at least another 3 years. There is a thrift shop in BayShore, Mineola, and Brooklyn. Heres a hint. The black line cake is cake that has been returned from the supermarkets. The Red line cake are cakes that dont meet the requirements on the box and are right off the bakery line. It could have more powered sugar than stated, or milk chocolate where is should have been semi sweet.
Entenmanns is now owned by a Canadian company called George Weston so there is not a single person that runs it anymore. You can blame a whole company for the crapy changes that were made..
