Stretch Marks
Did you get before or after ? So far I have none I'm 39 weeks...but a few people said NO YOU GET THEM WHEN THE BABY COMES OUT?

I didn't get them at all when I was pregnant, and now 12 days after delivering I still don't have any! Maybe there is hope for me!

Never got them with DD#1 and so far none w/ this one(I am 36 weeks).
I have never heard of getting them after?????????

I have never heard of that I if you dont have them now then I dont think you are getting them and you are so lucky my stomache looks like a road map and now with DD #3 on the way Im sure its not going to get better

i got them on my hiney at the very end but it wasnt very noticeable. also when i breastfed and my milk came in i got small stretch marks on my boobs but once i stopped nursing they went away.

Sorry thats not true -
I gained 50 lbs with DS, had not one stretch mark during pregnancy!
Well then right after birth - poof- they all appeared!
So I got shrinking marks instead of stretch marks!
ETA: Check out the post currently on the parenting board, a few of us got them after.

The rumor is true!
I was so happy to have "escaped" the stretch mark nightmare during pregnancy.
Then I got home from the hospital, caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and was like, "holy cow what are those and where did they come from."
What can you do....

You misunderstood my post - I was crazy about checking my belly and having DH check, I had not 1 stretch mark on my belly prior to birth. I looked myself over in a full lenght mirror the morning I went for my c-section, nothing was there.
I didnt notice them in the hospital, but I probably just wasnt looking. Then I took my first shower at home, came out and saw them in the mirror. There were not their prior to my son's birth.

WOW!!! that stinks!!!! I understand on your boobs and butt after, but I wonder why on your belly? I guess from the shrinking???
