Horrible past couple of days
Hey guys,
I don't post here often but I just wanted to share something that happened to me two nights ago because I'm stressed and need the outlet. I live on a ground floor apt and we had a fire on the second floor. My bedroom was completely ruined and my clothes and stuff. Fortunately the rest of the apt was ok as well as my husband and my dog. We are currently having to stay with my mother in law while we look for a new apartment. Ironically we thought we were going to have to move last month and when our lease got renewed we had stopped looking, so here we go again. Just a word of advice we didn't get apt insurance. I advise anyone that has an apt to please do so. Wish us luck and if you know of any ground floor apts for lease in Nassau let me know. Thanks.

Oh my gosh! That is horrible. I'm so sorry!
Thank God everyone is ok- that's the main thing!
But I know it still s*cks to lose everything like that- I can't even imagine!

That's horrible.. I'm glad you guys are OK.
What size clothes do you and your DH wear? Perhaps some of us have a few things in our closets that will help you our.
What about dog food and stuff like that....

Thank you but fortunately we are good. We went yesterday and bought everything for our dog so she's not inconvenienced and are going today to buy some clothes. But thanks for your concern.

I am so sorry. I hope everything works out for you! I definately got apt insurance when we first moved into our apt last year. This actually reminds me that I need to send in my payment to renew it for another year. Thanks for the reminder!
